How to prepare for your appointment
Psychiatrists are specialists. Under Medicare, anyone seeing a specialist must have a referral from a GP or other doctor. This provides the specialist with useful information including medical history and any current medications.
We recommend you ask your doctor for family referral as other members of the family may be seen as part of the therapy. This will cover everyone for claiming on Medicare.
Information about fees is available by calling our practice.
